Evaluations
The first step when having solar installed on your home is to provide the sales team with your electrical usage for the past 6 to twelve months. You can find this information on your electric bill or by contacting your utility provider.
Once a sales representative has your electrical usage information the system can be sized and you will be provided with a rough estimate within 24 hours.
If you are happy with the rough estimate a sales representative will perform a free solar site evaluation. They will measure the roof space, shading, azimuth, and pitch of the possible locations for a solar array.
When designing your system we will determine the approximate efficiency of the system based on your available roof or ground space, the orientation and pitch of the roof and the shading, which will allow us to determine the number of modules and the size of the inverter needed to reduce or eliminate your electric bill.
We will provide an estimated return on investment based on your cost per kilowatt hour, your final estimated system cost, and the expected 25 year lifespan of the solar PV system. We make sure our customers are provided detailed and accurate information regarding tax credits, rebates, and system production estimates.
Most of the main components First Light Solar uses in grid tied solar electric systems carry a 25 year manufacture warranty. The warranties include the cost of labor so if any main components fail in the first 25 years you will not be charged for the repair.
First Light Solar also offers a five year workmanship warranty on all jobs.
Installation teams take great pride in their work, paying attention to every detail. Installation teams make sure each system looks as good as it perform.
